Where we come from
The Geo. J. Meyer Company of Milwaukee built rotary bottle and can fillers for soft drink and beer plants for decades. When a group of its technicians and engineers set out on their own in 1991, they brought hands-on experience with those machines: how they were designed, where they wear, and how to make them run faster and cleaner.
Meyer no longer builds fillers, but many of its machines are still in production, and a small group of specialist suppliers keeps them running. World Packaging is one of them. Our service technicians bring more than 40 years of Meyer equipment knowledge to every audit, rebuild and startup.

Our history
From a small team of Meyer veterans to a company that supports large bottling plants and builds its own counter-pressure fillers.
- 1991
World Packaging Company is founded
Former Geo. J. Meyer technicians and engineers incorporate World Packaging Company, Inc. to support Meyer fillers with parts, service and engineering.
- 1993
Building Meyer/World fillers
We begin remanufacturing complete Meyer fillers under the Meyer/World name, rebuilding the base, drive, bowl, valves and controls and adding our own improvements.
- 1998
The filler exchange program
Bottlers can trade a worn Meyer filler for a remanufactured unit with the same footprint, so it drops into the existing line with minimal downtime and no retraining.
- 2000s
Upgrades and conversions
Our engineering team develops upgrade kits for the Meyer family: stainless lift cylinders and bases, electro-pneumatic valve openers, neck-handling conversions, drive conversions, level controls and clean-in-place systems. Remanufactured fillers ship to bottlers across North America, Latin America, the Caribbean and Asia.
- 2020
ABC Fillers joins World Packaging
We absorb ABC Fillers and bring its small-format counter-pressure filling technology in house.
- Today
The CP-12 and complete lines
Our newest World filler, the CP-12, brings counter-pressure filling to craft brewers and smaller beverage producers, alongside complete small-format lines and continued support for high-speed Meyer equipment.
Who we work with
From national soft drink bottlers to independent craft breweries, our customers fill soft drinks, beer, water, juice, energy drinks, wine and spirits, in the United States and internationally, with representation in Asia.

“In each phase of this very aggressively scheduled project, the World Packaging team showed special effort in handling the challenges to meet or exceed PBV’s electrical and manufacturing specifications. Their customer-focused approach allowed us to finish the project on time and within budget. Additionally, the field service team provided excellent installation and startup support to the plant.”
“Yoshida Foods was awarded the Pepsi Co-Packer 2013 Customer Service Award. We could not have accomplished this honor without the help and support of your team… We shared with Pepsi how valuable you were to our success and that this was truly a whole team effort.”
