World CP-12 counter-pressure filler with stainless product tank in a brewery

New World filler

CP-12 counter-pressure filler and seamer

High-speed counter-pressure filling technology, scaled for craft beverage. Fill and seam cans, with options for aluminum, glass and PET bottles, from one compact machine.

Why the CP-12

Big-line filling quality in a craft-scale footprint

The CP-12 brings the counter-pressure principle used on high-speed beverage lines to breweries and beverage makers who need control over their own packaging. The product tank sits above the fill heads, so product is gravity fed rather than pumped upward, and every container is brought to tank pressure before the fill begins to keep CO2 in solution.

It is designed, built and supported in Summerville, South Carolina, by the same team that keeps high-speed Meyer bottling lines running.

Fill tank above the fill heads lets product be gravity fed, as opposed to pumped or forced upward.

HMI fill control

Fill cycle parameters are adjustable through the touch-screen HMI, product by product.

Sanitary by design

316 stainless steel product contact with sanitary piping and connections.

High carbonation

Handles up to 5 volumes (10 g/L) of CO2 for sparkling products.

Automated CIP

Clean in place rated up to 180 °F for repeatable sanitation.

Beverage-optimized seaming

Seaming cam optimized for beverage cans; seaming wheels easily adjustable.

Repeatable changeovers

Tooling adjustments are maintained between changeovers, with quick-change levers.

CP-12 questions

What does the CP-12 fill?

The CP-12 fills carbonated and still beverages such as beer, hard seltzer, soft drinks, sparkling water, cider and wine. It handles carbonation up to 5 volumes (10 g/L) CO2.

Can the CP-12 run bottles as well as cans?

Yes. Cans are standard. Upgrade options cover aluminum bottles, glass and PET, with change parts for unique sizes, containers up to 1,750 ml and 5 inches in diameter, and a capping and seaming bypass for quick changes.

How fast is the CP-12?

Output depends on the configuration and package. The CP-12 runs with 6 filling heads at up to 50 cans per minute or 12 filling heads at up to 120 cans per minute, depending on package and product.

Is the CP-12 the same as the Hybrid Series?

The CP-12 is the current name for our compact counter-pressure filler and seamer, previously shown on this site as the Hybrid Series.

Can World Packaging supply the rest of the line?

Yes. We supply complete small-format lines including depalletizing, rinsing, filling and seaming, coding and accumulation, with installation and training.
